Rosso No.1 Coste del Vivo

£27.00

Tasting Notes

When a wine journalist proclaims a wine as 'delicious, delicious' delicious' and with the ability to revive a flagging soul after tasting hundreds of wines, it's time to look sharp! This is Toby's second multivintage release. Unorthodox for the region perhaps, but when it's this good, who cares! 63% Sangiovese, 18% Cabernet Franc, 11% Merlot and the remainder indigenous varieties - it's medium-bodied, with gorgeous blood orange, pomegranate notes, hints of graphite, tea and soft leather. Just the right amount of polish, with wonderful freshness. Certainly not a big wine, but a great wine!
